Larry Gene Gray, 64, of Rocky Point passed from his earthly life on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center surrounded with love and his family.

He was born May 30, 1954 in Burgaw, the son of the late John Ivey Gray and Dorothy Crews Gray. Also remembered is Larry's wife, Irene Gray, who preceded him in death.

Larry is survived by his daughters, Magan Gray and Kayla Gray; granddaughter, Zoey Beatty; brother, Ivey Gray and his wife, Terri; and many extended family and friends.

For many years Larry was a loyal employee at Lewis Sausage Company in Burgaw. He was a member of Penderlea Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Larry was blessed with a gift for music and he enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. He loved the outdoors and all of God's bountiful nature; rivers, streams and all growing plants and trees. Most of all he loved his family. Larry was loved and will be greatly missed.
