Larry Wayne Walker passed away on August 10, 2018. He was born in Glasgow, KY on August 23, 1947 to Buster Walker and Mona Bell Walker.

He moved to the Wilmington area and was a member of Sunset Park Baptist Church. He liked working in his yard. He was a wonderful father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and will be remembered for all the great advice he gave. He adored his grandbabies.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved son, Douglas Wayne Walker.

Larry is survived by his son, Larry Dean Walker (Ronda) of Washington state; daughter-in-law, Kim Walker of Wilmington, NC; and grandchildren, Savannah R. Walker, Douglas W. Walker Jr., and Emily G Walker.

Services will be held at a later date.
