Leatrice Viola Phillips, 89, passed away June 10, 2016. She was born January 17, 1927 in Fayetteville, NC and was the daughter of the late Ira and Birdie Johnson Matthews. She was preceded in death by a son, Clifford C. Reynolds and daughter, Joan Leslie Gore and husband, Roland.

Final rites will be held at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 conducted by Rev. Huston Miller, Jr. Viewing will be one hour before final rites. Burial will be in Cross Creek Cemetery #3 in Fayetteville, NC.

Viola is survived by two sons, James Darrell Davis of Riegelwood, NC and Dennis Dalton Davis and wife, Sylvia of Kelly, NC; and daughter, Hattie Melinda Malpass and husband, Billy of Delco, NC. She has 12 wonderful grandchildren and 13 of the most loveable great grandchildren.
