Lillie Jones Baker, age 87, of Jonestown Community, Wallace died Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at Woodbury Wellness Center.

Mrs. Baker was born July 14, 1920 in Pender County and was the daughter of the late John William and Katie Walker Jones. She was predeceased by her husband, Norton Alderman Baker; sister, Marie J. Murray and brothers, Tommie A. Jones, J.D. Jones, George Jones and P. Daniel Jones.

She was a life-long member of Willard Baptist Church.

Surviving are her loving children, Joyce B. Mihal and husband, John of Doylestown, OH, Alan Baker and wife, Sue of Wallace, Judith B. Suggs and husband, Bill of Wilmington and Pamela B. Bloodworth and husband, Elmore of Wilmington; grandchildren, John A. Mihal, David Mihal, Lisa Farfour and husband, James, Barrett Baker, Deidre Wood and husband, Dennis, Katie Suggs, Scot Bloodworth and Nicholas Bloodworth and wife, Beth; great grandchildren, Katelyn, Samantha, Benjamin and Alex; brothers, Charles Jones and wife, Rachel of Niceville, FL and Clayton Jones and wife, Mary Virginia of Willard; three sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2007 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel with the Rev. David Knowles officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral service on Friday evening until 8:30 p.m. at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home, Wallace and other times at Lillie Baker's home.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in Riverview Memorial Park, Watha.
