Linda Sue Bostic, age 61, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at home.

She was born on November 25,1961 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Durwood Elbridge Bostic, Sr.  and Margaret Catherine Butler Bostic. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Durwood E. Bostic, Jr. and her sister, Janice M. Bostic.

Linda lived her whole life in Atkinson where she dedicated her entire life to working on the family farm. Linda especially loved sitting on her back porch, admiring her beautiful flowers and watching the birds eat from their feeders and bathe in the bird bath. Linda will truly be  missed by her family and everyone who knew her.

Linda is survived by her nieces, Sherrie Elixson and husband, Jeremy, and Christy Grider and her husband, Jason; two great nieces, Kayleigh Elixson and Cali Grider; great nephew, Jeremy Elixson, Jr.; great great niece, Nalaigha White; and sister-in-law, Kathy Bostic.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Linda Bostic will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with the Rev. Merrell McKoy officiating.
