Linda Jacob DeBose, 75, of Watha passed from her earthly life Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

She was born August 11, 1948 in Station Hospital at Camp Campbell, Kentucky. Linda was the daughter of Joseph Morris Jacob and Ellen Baggett Jacob. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald "Ronnie" DeBose; daughter, Vicky Lynn Williams; and son James "Danny" Naramore.

Linda is survived by her son, James "Jimmy" Bourgoyne; grandchildren, Rachel Williams, Joseph Williams, Jacob Williams, and Dalton Naramore; great grandchildren, Naomi Perry and Brock Williams; son-in-law; Scott Williams; and many friends.

Linda retired as general manager of Speedway after working over 28 years at the same location, but under different station names.

Linda had a strong work ethic and worked hard all of her life, becoming quite successful in all that she undertook. By nature, she was a caring, giving lady who cared for many folks throughout her life. In her spare time Linda enjoyed reading and gardening. She raised all kinds of beautiful plants. Most of all she loved and served her family, with special emphasis on her great grandchildren. Linda was loved and will be greatly missed.
