Linda Carol Kraulik, 70, of Magnolia, NC passed from this earthly life to her eternal rest on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at ECU Health in Greenville after a lengthy illness.

She was born on December 15, 1955, in Harvey County, Kansas to William Clinton and Dolores Bradshaw Kraulik Smith. She was also preceded in death by her brother Donald Kraulik and nephew Ethan Kraulik.

Linda was an Optometric Assistant with Optometric Associates in Wallace for 40 years until her health caused her to have to retire.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her fiancé James Eugene Baker, Sr. of Magnolia; her sister Janice Peterson of Wallace; brother Gary Kraulik and wife Bonnie of Turkey; niece Hannah Kraulik and Gracie Brigman; nephews Ethan Brigman and Ayden Brigman; her furry feline friend “Tom”; numerous cousins, extended family and friends.

Linda was a sweet, kind and yet strong lady who loved her family dearly. She was a dedicated to her family and her job. Linda loved animals, the beach, going on cruises and talking to people. She was a people’s person who never met a stranger. Being a good cook Linda enjoyed grilling and spending time with family and friends. Linda will surely be missed but treasured memories of her will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

There will be a private family memorial service at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace, NC.
