Linda Diane Vollman Ogden, 76, of Watha departed from her earthly life Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington.
Born at home in Freemansburg, PA on May 21, 1944, she is the daughter of the late Viola and Robert Vollman. She is also preceded in death by her son, Todd Richard Ogden and her sister, Marsha Huhn.
Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Larry Richard Ogden; daughter Kim Longenbach and husband Jim; daughter-in-law, Holly Ogden; grandchildren, Nate Longenbach and wife Sarah, Matt Longenbach, Rachel Longenbach, Rebecca Longenbach, Aaron Ogden, Emily Williford, and Paige Midgett and husband Bryan; great-granddaughter, Makenna Midgett; sister, Connie Doklan; brothers, Kurt Vollman and wife Gail, and Bruce Vollman and wife Melanie; and many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Linda loved the Lord, worshipping and serving at church, and the time she spent with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and caring grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She attended St. Luke's School of Nursing in PA and spent many years enjoying her career as a nurse. She had many talents and gifts such as quilt making, clothing making, sewing, scrapbooking, decorating her home, photography, and cooking. She enjoyed music and travel. Linda was a great listener, kind, generous, and always willing to help. She will be missed terribly by her family and friends and will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
There will be at viewing at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Burgaw. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Art Sauer officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Memorial Park.
