Linda Lee Pickett, 81, of Rocky Point passed away from her earthly life on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at her home in Rocky Point.

She was born March 20, 1943, in Guilford County, NC, daughter of the late Thomas York and Annie Crutchfield York.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Earl Pickett; son, Tony Hannon; daughters, Tammy Garris (Alan), Marie Lewis (Alan), Dianne Hildebrand; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren with one more great grandbaby on the way; sisters, Nancy York and Betty York; many other family members and friends.

Linda was a joy to know. She was caring, smart, feisty, sharing and kind. Linda was a devoted, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Linda was dearly loved and will truly be missed.

A graveside service will be officiated by Reverend Merrell McKoy and held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at James Pickett Cemetery, with a visitation of friends following the service.
