Lorrie Ann Cannon Jones, age 51, of Wallace passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 at her residence.

She was born April 14, 1961 in Pitt County and was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Betty Grace Cross Cannon.

Surviving are her husband of 31 years, Thomas Jones; her canine companions, Blackie, Bam-Bam, Lady Bird and Roxie; brother, James Thomas Cannon and wife, Debra and children, Felicia Cannon and Roger Riggs of Chocowinity; sisters, Deborah Canon Speight and husband, Clinton and children, Floyd Jeffrey Cannon, Melinda Grace Cannon and Tommy Ervin Cannon of Pactolus and Betty Cannon Roberson and Robert of Snow Hill and children, Sammy Cannon, Melvin Taylor and Belinda Taylor, father-in-law, L.D. Jones of Wallace; sisters-in-law, Gail Jones and Angela Jones and children, Robyn Britt and Ashlea Raynor; brothers-in-law, Redtop Jones and children, Sandy Jones and Jimmy Jones;, Benji Jones and children, Ariel Jones, Stormy Jones, Serenity Jones and Skylar Jones and special friends, Hazel Preston and Susan Walters.

In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to the funeral home to help with funeral arrangements.
