Lucio Villarreal Gomez, age 28, of Burgaw and formerly of Mexico died Sunday, June 8, 2008 in Onslow County.

He was born December 13, 1979 in Chiapas, Mexico and was the son of Virginia Gomez Diaz of Mexico and the late Amadeo Villarreal Gomez.

In addition to his mother Lucio is survived by his son, Allen Villarreal of Mexico; his brother, Nolberto Villarreal Gomez of Burgaw; six additional siblings in Mexico and his wife, Teena Horne of Burgaw.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home, Burgaw.

Lucio's family will have a funeral service and burial at a later date in Mexico.
