Margie was born August 8, 1944 in Rockingham County Virginia.  She passed away on July 13, 2023 at Woodbury Wellness Center in Hampstead North Carolina.

Margie lived all of her life in Albemarle County Virginia.

Margie is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lizzie Conley as well as her siblings, Paulina, Junior, Lebert, Elwood and Roger.  Also proceeding her is a grandson, Gordy Thomas and son-in-law, James "Bubby" Thomas.

Margie leaves to cherish her memory daughters Cindy Thomas-Sandridge (Greg) and Anita Thacker (Robert), son, Greg Thacker (Heather) and grandson, Jordan Thacker and her very special sister, Anne Morris.

Margie spent two nights a week bowling with her close friends.  She was an avid camper, member of the Good Sams Camping Club and camped all over Virginia monthly.

Margie loved to help people.  Her generous nature and good humor will be missed by many.

There will be a celebration of life held in Virginia at a later date.
