Obituary

Mary Marie Jarrett, 79, of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents Rosalie Lowery, Martha and Eugene Stebbins, and Willie Albert and Etta Mae Chavis; her siblings Clyde, Bobby, Raymond, Eugene Jr., Evon, Dexter, Donald, Judy, and Rabon.

Marie is survived by her husband, Thomas Jarrett; her children, Richard Jarrett and wife Cindy, Jason Jarrett and wife Christie, and Lori Clark and husband Larrimer; her grandchildren, Taylor and fiancé Ysenia, Ashley and husband Frederick, Luke, Samuel, Mason and Elijah; her great grandchildren, Melanie and Oliver.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Marie meant so much to so many. She dedicated her life to the service of our Lord, Jesus Christ. She was devoted to her family and helped to raise all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by the people who knew and loved her.

The visitation will be conducted in Marie's honor from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.

Burial will follow the service at Oak Ridge Cemetery in St. Pauls, NC.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to her home church, Church of the Bridegroom in Fayetteville, NC.
