Marilyn Denise Flowers Pusey, 58, of Watha passed gently from her earthly life Friday, July 16, 2021 at Kenansville Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born October 14, 1962 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Willie Calvin Flowers and the late Daphine Causey Flowers.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Gerald Pusey of Watha, NC; youngest son, Kenneth Jordan of Rocky Point, NC; brothers, Willie M. Flowers (Donna) of Wilmington, NC, Roger D. Flowers (Kelly) of Castle Hayne, NC, and Jeffery A. Flowers (Teresa) of Rocky Point, NC; sisters, Jackie Furtado of Jacksonville, NC, Wanda Kelley of Wilmington, NC, and Renee Flowers of Castle Hayne, NC; grandchildren, Alleesea Jordan of Rocky Point, NC, Felicity Jordan Draffen of Oak Island, NC, James Leonard of NC, Brittany Jordan of NC and Drake Jordan of NC; great-granddaughter, Annastasia Draffen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her eldest son, David Allen Jordan; and sister, Judy F. Lewis.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 between 6pm and 8pm at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 2:30pm at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington with Rev. Jonathan Rochelle officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Wilmington, NC.
