Mark Ray Caison, 56, of Currie passed peacefully away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.

He was born December 12, 1964 in New Hanover County, the son of Carol Ann Moore Caison and the late James Ray Caison.

Mark is survived by his sons, Daniel Caison, Joshua Caison and wife, Savannah; grandchildren, Jakoby Caison, Kinley Caison, and Adilyn Caison; brother, Timothy Caison and wife, Tammy; and nephew Josh Caison.

For seven years Mark ran his own roofing company where his hardworking attitude served him well. He never missed a day of work. He was a simple man who loved to have a good time, but most of all he treasured time spent with his family. Mark will be greatly missed by those he loved and by those who loved him in return.

A gathering of family and friends for a time of sharing and fellowship will be 6 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Burgaw.
