Marvin N. Marshburn, of Wilmington passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012. He was born in Wilmington, NC, on November 22, 1924.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Pauline Marshburn of Marion, NC.

He is survived by his three daughters, Louise Fearon, Margie Galusha and Lynn Ronan; 6 grandsons and 6 great-grandchildren, and his only remaining sister, Hazel Fuller, also of Wilmington.

Mr. Marshburn retired from Ideal Cement Co. and enjoyed many years of retirement with his wife and family.

He was cared for in his final years by his daughter, Margie and son-in-law Dan Galusha, for which the family will be eternally grateful.

A graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Oleander Memorial Gardens. If you wish to view Mr. Marshburn, you may do so from 9:00 am until noon on Tuesday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home, Bradley Creek Chapel.
