Mary Vansant Duncan, age 62, of Rocky Point entered her eternal rest on Thursday, November 10, 2022 in Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center..

She was born January 28, 1960 in Fredericksburg, VA, the daughter of George Vansant and Peggy Hutchinson Vansant. In addition to her parents Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Ned Vansant.

Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Buddy Duncan; and her extended family members and friends. Not to be forgotten are her fur babies, Dixie and Monkey.

Mary was a joy to know as she was quick to smile and always willing to help others. She loved the beach - sand, shells, salt water, and sun. Mary was a wonderful wife to Buddy as she thought the sun rose and set in him. Mary was truly loved and will be missed.
