Mary Walker Lovette Ennis, age 89 of Wallace died Sunday, September 30, 2007 at Kenansville Health and Rehab.
She was born August 13, 1918 in Duplin County and was the daughter of the Holton Franklin and Letha Thigpen Walker. She was predeceased by her grandchild, Keith Dwayne Henderson, sisters, Addie W. Teachey, Emma W. Hall and Christian W. Snow and brother, George D. Walker.
Mrs. Ennis was produce manager at Piggly Wiggly of Wallace for seventeen years.
Surviving are her children, Mary L. Brown and husband, Bobby of Magnolia, Clyde D. Lovette and wife, Ida Pearl of Penderlea, Letha Frances Lovette, Lois L. Hall and George Lovette all of Wallace; grandchildren, Kim B. English, Otis G. Brown, Gary and Eric Lovette, Amanda L. Whaley, Trudy L. Stevenson, Karren H. Henderson, Lisa H. Raynor, Terri H. Davis, Joy H. Kennedy; Charles Gay, Jr., Jeff C. Brown, Sharon B. Futrell and Cynthia Lovette; great grandchildren, Joshua and Justin English, Jarrett and Christian Lovette, Farrah M. Bowen, Megan Henderson, Jessica R. King, Quinton D. Raynor, Owen, Ruffin and Decator Davis, Brenton and Brandi Hatcher, Devin Kennedy, Justin and Summer Brown, Jessica Norris, Jessica Collins and Tripp Barret; great-great grandchildren, Haley English, Jaden King, Deven Wood, Robert and Clayton Bowen and Alex Collins and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel with the Reverend Jimmy Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in Rockfish Memorial Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Otis G. Brown, Gary Lovette, Eric Lovette, Brenton Hatcher, Owen Davis and Ruffin Davis.
Honorary casketbearers will be D.O. Dixon, Marion Wood and Ann Rose Casteen.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home, Wallace.
