Mary Frances Moore, age 77, of Clinton, NC passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Southwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Clinton, NC.

She was born on January 11, 1945 in Pender County, NC to the late Shellmon Hughes, Sr. and Lillian Andrews Hughes.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Norann Hughes Young; son, Billy Joe Moore; brothers, Shellmon Hughes, Jr. and Ronnie Martin Hughes; sister, Brenda Hughes Starling; and grandchild, Jake Thomas Register.

Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Esther Jane Hughes.

Mary was a member of First Assembly of God in Wallace, NC.
