Mary Susan Richardson Hatcher, age 69, of Hampstead passed away peacefully Friday, August 26, 2016 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter.

She was born in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Dan Martin Richardson and Adele Kesselring Richardson.

Susan was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 47 years, James F. Hatcher of the home; son, James Hatcher and wife Rebecca; daughter, Jennifer Anne Hatcher Faulkner and husband Tommy; three grandchildren, Ethan Hatcher, Reagan Faulkner and Caelyn Hatcher; brothers, David Richardson and wife Debbie and Dan Richardson and wife Suzanne; sister, Elizabeth Lloyd and husband William; and numerous other loving family and friends.

A memorial mass will be held 11 AM Saturday September 3, 2016 at All Saints Catholic Church, 18737 US Highway 17 N, Hampstead, NC 28443.

Memorials may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation at 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
