Mary F. Thorpe's Obituary
Mary Frances Barnhill Thorpe, 86 of Castle Hayne, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2015.
She was the daughter of the late B. Faison Barnhill and Alma Carter. She was also preceded in death by her husband W. E. Thorpe, Sr and son, David Thorpe, Sr., brothers, Burton and John Barnhill and sister Elizabeth Lockamy.
Mary "Frances" is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Merle) Graham and son, Ed (Sheila) Thorpe, Jr. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, sisters Mildred Parker of Florida and Margaret (Guy) Prosper of Castle Hayne.
Funeral service will be 11AM, Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 10-11. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Castle Hayne Baptist Church, 4535 Parmele Rd, Castle Hayne, NC 28429 or Bible Baptist Church, P O Box 914, Burgaw, NC 28425
