Megan Elizabeth Satterly, 23, our beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt and friend has left our world way too soon. On Thursday, January 13, 2022 she was went to join the angels in God's heavenly home.

She was born in Wilmington, the daughter of Donald Lee Satterly, Jr. and Kelly Renee Harrell Satterly. In addition to her mother, Megan was preceded in death by her grandfather, Larry Harrell.

Megan is survived by her father, Donald "Don" Satterly, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Bobbi Kamen and her husband, Brian; paternal grandmother, Carol Offield and her husband, Larry; sister, Winter Clapsaddle  and her husband, Conor; niece, Bailey; nephew, Jaxson; and many extended family members and friends.

Megan graduated from Cleveland High School where she enjoyed playing volleyball. She loved spending time with her niece and nephew, Bailey and Jaxson. Megan also helped to care for her mother, Kelly. Megan was loved and her passing leaves an empty place in our hearts.

A memorial service will be at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with Bishop Allan Grachan conducting the service.
