Melissa Mays, 50, of Burgaw passed from her earthly life on Monday, August 28, 2017 at her home.

She was born September 30, 1966 in Champaign County, Illinois and was the daughter of Ronald Mays and the late Nancee Webb Mays Lennon.

In addition to her dad, Melissa is survived by her daughter, Randi Overman (Joseph Lanier); son, Kenneth Mays (Nicole); grandchildren, Olivia, Emma, Conner and Logan; sisters, Melanie Hancock, Tracy Keel (Joshua), Wendy Barnes (Todd), Shelly McLaughlin, Cindy Lennon, and Laura Hutson; brothers, Glenn Mays (Yvette) and Michael Donovan; nieces and nephews, Halen, Eric, and Jamie; and many extended family.
