Michael Darren "Ziggy" Caison, 44, of Castle Hayne passed from his earthly life to his eternal rest on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in Castle Hayne.

He was born June 22, 1668 in Burgaw.

Darren is survived by his mother, Shirley Kennedy Dawson; father, John David "J.D." Caison and his wife, Wanda; step-father, Sidney Dawson; daughters, Krystal Ward and Melinda Caison; son, Harley Caison; granddaughters, Madison and Hannah: brothers, David Caison, Darnell Dawson and Timmy Caison; sisters, Melissa Sadusky, Kathy Gusman and Toni Giddeons; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Darren loved his family, especially his step-father, Sidney. He loved the outdoors and spent much time communing with nature. Darren loved his dog, Victoria. Darren's smile and his gentle laughter will be missed and remembered.

Celebration of Life for Michael Darren Caison will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013 at his mother's home, 3421 Lynn Ave., Lot 11, Castle Hayne.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to Darren's family or to a homeless shelter of your choice.
