Michael Allen Kelly, age 28, of Watha died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 27, 2011 in Pender County as a result of an auto accident.

Michael was born October 27, 1983 in Wilmington. He is survived by his loving family; his parents, Janet and David Rich of Watha; brother, Johnathan Kelly of Rocky Point; niece, Julie Kelly and many extended family and friends.

Michael loved his family and especially enjoyed hanging out with family and friends. Julie, Madison and Kaleb loved spending time and getting much attention from Uncle Michael. Maggie and Coco, Michael's Chihuahua dogs, were his constant companions. Michael was a quiet man with an unusual laugh who loved all of God's animals and nature, especially the beach. Michael was loved and will be greatly missed.

A time of sharing memories and fellowship will be 6 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Burgaw.
