Michael West Miller, 61, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at UNC-Hospitals-Chapel Hill.

He was born in Lenoir County, NC, the fifth of ten children born to Earl and Ruby Kornegay Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mike is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sandra; brothers, Allen Miller, Harold Miller, Milton Miller, Tommy Miller, and Faison Miller; sisters, Faye Baysden, Connie Buffkin, Rose Martin, and Sharon Grunden and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mike was a faithful member of Castle Hayne Baptist Church. His greatest love other than Jesus, family, friends and pets, was managing Little Orchid Farm.

The family will receive friends at 12 noon on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Castle Hayne Baptist Church, 4535 Parmele Rd, Castle Hayne, NC 28429. Memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with The Rev. Billy Fowler, The Rev. Edward McClure and The Rev. Harold Baysden officiating.
