Michael "Craig" Strickland, age 63, of Castle Hayne, NC passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022.

He was born on March 28, 1959 in Burgaw, NC to his father, Herman Aaron Strickland, and his mother, Gail Ward Strickland.

Craig enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved wildlife and photographing birds, deer and other animals. Most of all, Craig loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a uniquely spirited person that will be missed dearly.

In addition to his parents, Craig is survived by his son, Michael Craig Strickland, Jr.; his daughter, Veda Mitchell (Matt); his brother, Marc Strickland (Diane); and his sister, Teresa Strickland.

Craig was preceded in death by his beloved dog, Sally.
