She was born on March 3, 1933 in Bladen County; the daughter of the late Gordan Bradley and Ruth Anders Long.  Also lovingly remembered is her husband, Thaddeus "Teeny" Bradshaw; her daughter, Pam B. Shields; her son, Tommy Bradshaw; and siblings, Doris Gallagher and Julius Long.

Surviving are her grandchildren, Aimee McKay and husband, Will of Kenansville, Brandi B. Page and husband, Ronnie of Teachey, Dana West and husband, David of Watha and Bradley Bradshaw and wife, Brittany of Willard; great grandchildren, Halee McKay, Dylan McKay, Reid Page, Anna Grace Page, Ethan West, Karen West and Tate Bradshaw; sister, Blondell Johnson of Harrells;  daughter-in-law, Peggy Bradshaw of Rose Hill; sister-in-law, Sheila Long of Harrells; nieces, Connie Thomason, Kellie Daniel and Heather McCullen; close friend, Mary Raynor and other extended family and friends that loved Mildred.

Mildred was a caring mother, grandmother and sister.  She enjoyed the simplest things in life but her greatest joy was family.  Being an outdoors person, Mildred enjoyed gardening and growing beautiful flowers in her yard.  She was a great cook and enjoyed traveling and shopping.  Mildred was a strong, courageous and yet gentle woman who brought out the good in all those who were near and dear to her. She will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Due to Covid-19, there will be a private graveside for the immediate family at Rockfish Memorial Cemetery.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Mildred's personal care givers and Liberty Home Care and Hospice Center for their kindness and compassionate care to Mildred and her family.
