Mildred Lee Dyson, age 80, of Burgaw and formerly of Wilmington died Monday, April 21, 2008 at Pender Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Horry County, SC and was the daughter of the late Kelly Walker Johnson, Sr. and Martha Edwards Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Franklin Dyson, Sr. and an infant son, Michael Christopher Dyson.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Sylvia Dyson of Ivanhoe; granddaughter, Melissa Dyson of Charlotte; sister, Eloise Yaggi of Allendale, SC; and brothers, Gene Johnson of Fayetteville and Jimmie Ray Johnson of Aynor, SC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Burgaw.
