Milton Ray Parker, 78, of Rocky Point passed peacefully to his eternal rest on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was born November 4, 1934 in Duplin County, the son of the late Herbert and Gertie Graham Parker. Also he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Joyce Bryant Parker; son, Anthony Ray Parker and sister, Hazel Fox.

Milton is survived by his sons, Bryan, Mike and David; grandchildren, Anthony, Christopher, Courtnie, and Joshua; great grandchildren, Haley, Ethan, Brody, Candice and Ayden; sister, Ethel Taylor (Gary); brother, Marion Parker (Lois); and brother-in-law, Bud Fox.

Milton served his country honorably in the US Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, was an avid CB operator and was seldom without a Sun Drop, his favorite drink. His great grandchildren were a special joy in his life. His gentle smile and quiet witty personality will always be remembered.

A graveside funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Riley's Creek Memorial Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received at the home of Marion and Lois Parker in Wilmington.
