Miriam Ann Litwiller Nell, age 78, of Rocky Point, NC passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024. She was born on September 8, 1945 in Hopedale, IL.

Miriam was a life long dog breeder who showed, bred and owned or co-owned many champion dogs over her life time. She was a member of the SGI Buddist communities in Greenville, SC and Wilmington, NC. She enjoyed having her own little farm of animals and had a tremendous number of plants and plant knowledge. A stubborn and strong willed woman, she lived life on her own terms all the way until the end.

Miriam is survived by her daughter, Marnie Williams, her husband, Eric; son, Sean Nell, his wife, Karen; granddaughters, Corey and Alyssa, grandson, Cody, his wife Ashtin, and grandsons, John and Joshua; and a host of other family members and friends.

Miriam was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Kenneth Nell, and son, Craig Nell.

Charitable contributions to your local SPCA in her memory. A memorial service for both her and Craig will be made at a later date.
