Mollie Jane Ivey, age 87, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter.

She was born August 14, 1929 in Robinson County, North Carolina the daughter of the late Elmer Haynes and Fronnie Barnes Haynes. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wade Ivey.

Mrs. Ivey was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother who was beloved by all. She enjoyed spending time gardening and liked flowers but she mostly cherished the time spent in the company of family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tammy Suggs; grandchildren, Jeremy Erwin, Samantha Erwin and Brad Moore and wife Arrenda; great grandchildren, Juliette, Roslyn and Alex Moore; brothers, Ish Haynes, Bug Haynes and Guy Haynes; sister, Doris Soles; and numerous other loving family and friends.

A graveside service will be held 2:30 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Wilmington, North Carolina.
