Myers Conly Price, 79, of Castle Hayne, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021.

He was born in Bladenboro, NC, on April 4, 1942, to the late Troy Paxton Price and Lucy (Guyton) Price.

Myers, a devoted member of Wrightsboro Baptist Church, was a hardworking man who retired from GE after 29 years of service as a machine operator. He loved his family, a good meal and a good laugh. He was a bright light to all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

Myers is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Winnie Sue (Bradshaw) Price; son, Michael Stephen Price and wife, Dawn, of Wilmington; daughter, Dr. Andrea Marie Price of Clarkesville, Georgia; sister, Novella Price Shaw of Cary; grandchildren, Trevor Michael Price and wife, Olivia, of Charlotte, Caleb Stephen Price of Wilmington, Nathan Joel Price of Wilmington; and many other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Myers was also preceded in death by his infant son, Kenneth Wayne Price; and his sister, Alva Jane Price Hudson.

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, August 2, 2021, at Wrightsboro Baptist Church in Wilmington with Rev. Jimmy Newkirk officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Bullard Cemetery in Bladenboro.
