Myrtle Patricia Amann, age 84, of Wilmington, NC passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington, NC.

She was born on October 16, 1936 in New Hanover County, NC to the late Walter J. Hobbs and Eula Kathern Carter Hobbs.

Myrtle attended Ogden Baptist Church in Wilmington, NC and the parishioners were like a second family to her.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, William Francis Amann; son, William McLean Amann; daughter, Patricia Ann Potter Mitchell; sister, Elizabeth Kathern Hobbs Henegar; and brothers, James Jackson Hobbs and Chester McLean Hobbs.

A memorial service will be held at Ogden Baptist Church, 7121 Market Street in Wilmington on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 11am with Pastor Danny Justice officiating.
