Myrtle Marie Wells, 90, of Burgaw was granted her angel wings on Tuesday, July 02, 2013 as her spirit ascended from her earthly life at Huntington Health Care.

She was born January 14, 1923 in Kanawha County, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Minnie Lee Atkins Wells. Also lovingly remembered is her brother, Troy Wells and sister, Delcie Graley.

Myrtle is survived by her sister-in-law, Cora Wells of Dunbar, WV; brother-in-law, Bobby Graley of Watha; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and other extended family, all who dearly loved Myrtle.

Myrtle loved her family in her own special way. She had a witty sense of humor, a cheerful smile and could easily make her family chuckle. Even though her abilities were limited she was always willing to lend a helping hand, folding clothes was her specialty. Myrtle lived a long and blessed life; she was greatly loved and well cared for by her family.

Graveside funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Riverview Memorial Park with Gary Dale, nephew of Myrtle, presiding over the service.
