Mrs. Pierce was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Randle Glenn Pierce; her granddaughter Jenny Mitchell; brother Billy Ray Sholar; and sisters, Carolyn Norwood and Barbara Williams.
Mrs. Pierce was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Wallace Branch.

Nancy was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed the simplest things in life but her greatest joy was her family, especially her three daughters. She enjoyed spending "girl time" with her daughters whether it was shopping or just sitting around and talking. Nancy was a great cook and loved to prepare meals for family and friends. Being a diligent homemaker, she filled her home with love and welcomed all who entered. She was a good neighbor and friend and was loved by all who knew her. Nancy will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
