Nicolas Alcantara Raminez, 46, of Wallace left this earthly life for his eternal rest on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center.

He was born July 19, 1968 in Santa Barbara, Honduras, the son of the late Concepcion Alcantara and Fernanda Ramirez.

Mr. Ramirez is survived by his loving daughters, Isabel Alcantara Ocampo and Xiomara Jissell Ocampo and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Nicolas was a great father who dearly loved his family and especially his two daughters. He was a hard worker who enjoyed working on cars and spending time outdoors. Being a strong yet gentle man he was always ready to help those in need. Nicolas loved to laugh and knew how to make a joke out of every situation. One of his favorite foods were oranges. Nicolas will surely be missed but cherished memories of him will forever be with those who knew and loved him.

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Riverview Memorial Park in Watha.

The family will received friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2014 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Wallace, NC.
