Nola Ross Boyd of Scotts Hill, passed away July 11, 2017 in Wilmington, NC.

Nola was born in Lowland, NC on November 15, 1924 to the late Kelly Leroy Ross and Adelaide Lupton. She married Fred Len Boyd and they had five children together.

She enjoyed nature, oil painting, watercolors, gardening, and music. She loved her family.
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by grandson, Adam Lenn Boyd; great-granddaughter, Chloe Marie Edens; sister, Ima Joy Ross, and brothers, Glenn Ross, Dewey Ross, and William Ross.

Left to remember her are children, Murrell Lenn Boyd (Karen) of Pickens, SC; Danny Ross Boyd (Brenda) of Wilmington, NC; Fred Timothy Boyd (Mary) of Scotts Hill; William Joseph Boyd (Robin) of Scotts Hill; and Nola Ann Boyd of Wilmington; sisters, Velma Murdock and Irma Caroon; fourteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday July 12, 2017 at the Wesleyan Chapel United Methodist Church, 10255 US-17, Wilmington, NC 28411. Mr. Christopher Mark Boyd will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice; 1414 Physicians Dr, Wilmington, NC 28401.
