Patricia "Pat" Gail Coleman, 64, of Hampstead passed from her earthly life to her Heavenly home on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at her home.
She was born July 7, 1946 in Doraville, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Richard and Pansy Walters.
She was a member of Blakes Chapel Advent Christian Church.
Surviving is her beloved family, her husband of 46 years, Robert "Bob" Coleman of the home; daughters, Teresa C. Coston and husband, Dean and Lisa C. Ingram and husband, Dean, all of Hampstead; grandchildren, Steven Paquette, Amanda Coston, Candice Coston, Shawn R. Paquette, Dylan Ingram and Dean Ingram; brother, John Walters and wife, Debbie of Salisbury; brother-in-law, J. D. Coleman and wife, Lynda of Summerfield and many nieces and nephews.
Pat was a diligent homemaker who loved her family dearly. With a joyful spirit she filled her home with love and welcomed all who entered. Being a good neighbor and friend she was loved by all who knew her. Pat's family is grateful to God for her life and they consider themselves blessed to have had such a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Blakes Chapel Advent Christian Church with the Rev. Edward Dowd and the Rev Steve Spearing officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Casketbearers will be Johnny Dale Coleman, Brad Walters, Charlton Wilson, Chris Sollars, Jeremy Byrd and Daniel Byrd. Honorary bearers will be J. D. Byrd, Steven Griffin, Blake Little, Warren Spiller, Donald Cooper, Raymond Paquette and Glenn Tyner
The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation 12 noon to 1:00 pm, one hour prior the service on Tuesday at Blakes Chapel Advent Christian Church.
