Paul Reed Gurganious, 46, of Burgaw departed this life on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 25, 1966 in Wilmington and was the son of Bobby Allen and Sylvia Faye Gause Gurganious.

In addition to his parents Paul is survived by the love of his life for 19 years, Deanna Touchet; his children, Katrina Gurganious Casey, Melissa Horne, Robert Horne, Christopher Gurganious, David Scott Gurganious, Joseph Lee Gurganious, Anna Nicole Gurganious and Justin Gurganious; brothers, John A. Gurganious (Tammie) and Timmie Gurganious; and sister, Lisa Bigford.

Paul loved his family; his children were his greatest joy in life. He loved the outdoors, always enjoying all of God's bountiful and beautiful nature. Hunting and fishing were two things that Paul chose to spend his time doing whenever it was possible. Cherished memories of Paul will always remain in our hearts.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Riley's Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Herchenhahn officiating. Burial will follow in Riley's Creek Memorial Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Kyle Johnson, Earl Daughtrey, Wayne Summerlin, Roy Kentrolis, Ricky Kentrolis and Frank Faircloth.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Burgaw.
