Obituary

Pauline Brock Moore, 74, of Rose Hill passed from her earthly life on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Duplin Vidant Medical Center.

She was born February 20, 1943 in Pender County, the daughter of the late Earl P. and Mary Giddeons Brock. Pauline was preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Elizabeth Moore.

Pauline is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Franklin Moore; sister, LaVern Blanton (Charlie Daniels); brother, Leslie "Buddy" Brock; sister-in-law, Edith Ottaway; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, all who dearly loved Pauline.

She was a member of Island Creek Baptist Church. Pauline worked at Rose Hill Restaurant where she acquired many friends throughout the years.

Pauline lived her life with God as her guide. She loved her Lord, her family and her church family. Pauline always had a smile on her face, a hand stretched out to help others, and a heart ready to show the love of Christ within her. She was a diligent worker and an outstanding cook and homemaker. Pauline loved people, never met a stranger and once she met you, you were forever in her heart. Her sweet, sweet spirit will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends 1 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Island Creek Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary with Rev. Dr. Ronald Ginn conducting the service. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park
