The family will receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, one hour prior to the funeral service.

Pete was a devoted husband and loving daddy, granddaddy, great granddaddy, brother and friend. He never saw a stranger, but if he did they were certainly not a stranger for long. He would strike up a conversation and before too long you would feel like you had know him forever. Pete will be missed by those he touched along life's way and he will be remembered by all who knew him.

To offer a glimpse into the soul of someone we'll miss terribly, we give you these words. "Years from now the value of stock portfolio, the house I lived in, or the car I drove really won't matter. What will matter, however, is that I was a "Papa" in the lives of my great grandchildren." Love, Summer and Chase
