Raelynn Nicole Atkinson, age 6 months 4 days old, flew on wings of an angel to her heavenly home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 19, 2024. She was born in Wilmington on March 15, 2024.

She was the happiest, sweetest, most loving baby girl and will be greatly missed by  her loving family, church family, and friends. She was full of love, smiles, light and radiance. Raelynn brought so much joy into our lives.

Raelynn is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Rose Atkinson; grandmothers, Adraine Atkinson Elshahat and Kristin Dombroski; great grandparents, DeReta G. Atkinson and Donald Atkinson, Sr.; great great grandmother, Erma Atkinson; aunt, Freyja Anderson; many great aunts and uncles; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Raelynn was preceded in death by her great great grandfather, Claude "Mack" Atkinson.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Burgaw. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel with Pastor Art Sauer conducting the service.

The burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
