Ralph Edwards Collins, 81, of Kelly passed from his earthly life Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at his home.

He was born March 14, 1941 in High Shoals, Gaston County, NC, one of eleven children born to Ray Collins and Susan Hall Collins. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Collins Masias; and sons, Roddy Collins and Jimmy Collins.

Ralph is survived by his former spouse and best friend of 50 years, Pamela Collins; son, Andrew Collins; grandchildren, Miranda Collins (Juan), Rodney Collins (Heather), Andy Macias, James Macias, Jose Macias, and Jessica Collins; 20 great grandchildren; son-in-law, Jose Macias; brother Ray Collins, Jr. (Gale); sisters, Maynell Collins, Katherine Collins, Jewell and Judy; and many extended family members and friends.

Ralph loved his family and was greatly loved in return. His passion in life was his CB radio. All his CB buddies knew him as "Mossey Back." Ralph loved to recycle most any item that came his way. One will notice his mailbox is fashioned from an old tractor. It is with great sadness that Ralph is no longer a part of our family circle, but as sure as the sun shines he will remain in our hearts.
