Randall Charles
Corbett
July 16, 1962 – November 30, 2024
Randall Charles Corbett, lovingly known as "Randy" or "R.C.," entered his heavenly home on November 30, 2024. Born on July 16, 1962, in Burgaw, North Carolina, he was the beloved son of Harry Milton Corbett Jr. and Janice Kelly Corbett, who preceded him in death.
Randy leaves behind a legacy of love and family, survived by his brother, Phil Stanley Corbett; his children, Amanda Corbett Villari (Joseph) and Forrest Sinclair Corbett; his cherished grandchildren, Sage Elizabeth Villari and Corbett Joseph Villari; his aunt, Alice Rita Benjey; his uncles, Archie Ray Corbett, Tony Corbett, and Louis Sawyer; and many cousins and extended family who loved him dearly.
A retired long-haul truck driver, Randy spent more than 35 years on the road, finding adventure and purpose in the open highway. Off the road, he was a man of many passions—he loved tinkering in his workshop, cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, immersing himself in amateur racing, and, most of all, embracing his role as "Papa" to his grandchildren.
Faith was the cornerstone of Randy's life. His dedication to missionary work took him as far as the Philippines, where he joyfully served others and shared the message of Christianity. His passion for spreading the gospel and uplifting those in need left a lasting impact on every community he touched.
Randy will always be remembered for his unwavering faith, quick wit, and the way he could brighten any room with his humor and warm spirit. Whether he was with family, friends, or strangers, Randy had a gift for making people smile. His legacy of love, laughter, and service will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
A celebration of Randy's life will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Burgaw, officiated by Rev. Allen Murray. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
