Randall Laurren Lanier, 65, of Willard was granted his angel wings on Saturday, July 6, 2019.

He was born on March 24, 1954 in Duplin County. He was one of eight boys born to the late Johnnie Lewis Lanier and Mildred Casteen Lanier Murray.  Preceded in death are Randy's brother's, Larry Lanier, Samuel Lanier and Don Lanier.

Randy is survived by four brothers, Ken Lanier and wife Faye, Robert Lanier and wife Rose, Gene Lanier and wife Naomi and Johnnie Ray Lanier and wife Cathy; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that loved him dearly.

Randy was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend.  He enjoyed the simplest things in life, but his greatest joy was family and friends.  He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycles, watching Nascar and being outdoors in all of God's beauty and nature.  Randy will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever live in the hearts of those who were blessed to have known him and been a part of his life.

The family will honor Randy's memory with a private family memorial service in the near future.
