Raymond Earl
Bradshaw
Jun 22, 1951 — Jun 23, 2014
Raymond Earl Bradshaw, 63 of Rose Hill left this earthly life for his eternal rest on June 23, 2014 from his residence.
He was born on June 22, 1951 in Duplin County, the son of the late Raymond William and Shirley Ann Miller Bradshaw. He was also predeceased by his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Harvell and father-in-law, Gene Cavenaugh.
Mr. Bradshaw was a member of Island Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving to cherish his memory is his soul mate and devoted and loving wife of 29 years, Michelle Cavenaugh Bradshaw; his loving children, Ray Bradshaw (Myrae) of Wilmington, David Bradshaw (Kathy) of Wallace, Shelia Bradshaw Marshall (David) of Carolina Beach, Jacob Bradshaw (Nicole) of Rose Hill and Crystal G. Robinson (Bruce) of Kilsyth, Australia; grandchildren, Donovan Bradshaw, Deklan Bradshaw, Drake Bradshaw, Vikram Trikah, Izzy Bradshaw, Davis Bradshaw, Hunter Marshall, Fisher Marshall, Regan Cummings, Madison Cummings, Sydney Robinson, Jacob Bradshaw, Jr. and Josiah Bradshaw; ; sister, Shirley B. James of Carolina Beach; nephew, John Robert James (Ashley) of Wallace; special uncles and aunts, Milton (Doris) Bradshaw of Rose Hill and Jean Bradshaw Baker (Austin) of Fayetteville; step-father-in-law, Bobby Harvell of Wallace and step mother-in-law, Shirley Cavenaugh, also of Wallace; Raymond's very best friend and "˜brother' George Allen Brown (Susan) of Wallace and numerous friends that loved Raymond dearly.
Raymond was a devoted husband and caring father, grandfather, brother, nephew and friend. He was a simple man who loved his family, his coffee and eating barbeque from the Skylite Inn in Ayden. Being a man tall in stature but gentle in nature, Raymond loved people and was loved in return. He also enjoyed spending time with and cruising with George Allen. Raymond lived his life with a spirit of patience, gratitude, wonder and love. .......He was the happiest when he was doing simple things like fishing, drinking coffee, sitting at the dinning table holding hands with Michelle or making memories with his children and grandchildren. Raymond will surely be missed but cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
