Obituary

Raymond Lee "Ricky" Sellers, age 52, of Teachey, left this earthly life for his eternal rest on Friday, June 24, 2016.

He was born on November 10, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri and was the son of Joseph "Joe" Moore of Teachey and the late Margaret Sullivan Moore.

Ricky and his brother, Ron were owner and business partners of Oakey Branch Mobile Home Park. Before this partnership, they were long time farmers with their parents. Ricky attended Kingdom Builders where he always felt at home and a part of their family.

Surviving, in addition to his father is his loving daughters, Brittany Sellers (Wes) and Staci Sellers; his granddaughters, who were the apple of his eye, Taylor and Cashlyn; his devoted sister, Ann S. Smith (Thomas) of Teachey; his brother, Ron Sellers (Carol) of Rose Hill; nieces, Bridget Brennan (Scot) and Tristan Sellers; nephew, Kevin Smith (Hope); special family friend, Kayla Price; canine companion, Tanner and numerous family and friends that loved Ricky dearly.

Ricky was a loving son, and caring father, grandfather, brother and friend. He found great joy in the simplest of things, but his greatest joy was family, especially his granddaughters. Being an outdoorsman, Ricky enjoyed farming, four wheeling, camping, cookouts with friends and family as well as fishing. He was an avid John Deere fan and always had something with John Deere with him. With a generous spirit and a heart of gold, Ricky would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was a man of compassion and kindness always lending helping hands to neighbors, friends and family. Ricky will surely be missed but treasured memories of him will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Kingdom Builders in Wallace with Pastor Brad Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park, Watha.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00am, one hour prior the funeral service on Wednesday at Kingdom Builders.
