Rebecca Lynne Waldron, 56, of Burgaw passed peacefully from her earthly life to her eternal rest on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

She was born January 9, 1955 in Prince George County, Virginia and was the daughter of the late David Frederick and Nell Browne Waldron.

Becky is survived by her sister, Barbara Kelly of Glen Allen, Virginia; her extended family and church friends. Also mourning Becky's passing is her beloved cat, Smokey.

Becky loved the Lord, and lived her life according to her Christian beliefs. She was kind, sharing and caring of others; but always spoke her mind. Family was most important to Becky and she loved them dearly. Becky loved flowers, working in the church, and doing for others. She was active in her church through the years and was blessed with a love for the Lord and a faith that took her through an extended illness. Becky's family is grateful to God for her life, for your friendship and for your kindness and prayers.

Memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2011 at Jordan's Chapel United Methodist Church with The Rev. John Barnes officiating. There will be a private family burial.
