Reverend Luis Cebollero , age 77, of Wilmington went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Manati, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Vicente Cebollero Rivera and Luisa Sanchez Vazquez.

Luis was a sacrificial man of honor, integrity and great faith who always put the needs of others before his own. He was a devoted husband, loving daddy, granddaddy, great granddaddy and friend. Cherished memories of Luis will forever remain in our hearts.

Surviving are his beloved family; his wife, Hemenegilda Mendez Gonzalez De Cebollero; children, Luis Cebollero Mendez Jr, William Cebollero Mendez, Noemi Cebollero Mendez De Franco, and Luzaura Cebollero Mendez De Najar; grandchildren, Melissa A. Cebollero, Luis Alexander Cebollero, and Janessa Montijo Cebollero; great grandchildren, Venizia Ysabella Suarez Cebollero, Jordan Montijo, Victor Ilyan Cebollero, and Xavier Raoul Cebollero; sister, Mercerdes Cebollero Sanchez De Grau.
